Herbert, Fred B., age 73 yrs from Murphysboro died in Dec 1969.  He was a Banker and Jackson Co. judge.  Veteran of WWI.  Husband of Ruby.  Leaves behind a step daughter, 3 grandsons and 1 sister.  Buried at Tower Grove Cemetery
Reeves, Frances H., age 69 yrs from Carbondale died 22 Dec 1969.  Wife of Hiram E Reeves.  Leaves behind 2 sons, 3 daughters, 28 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Buried Pleasant Grove Cemetery
Squire, Billy, age 50 yrs from Ava died 29 Dec 1969. He was a druggist.  Veteran of WWII US Navy. Husband of Dorothy. Leaves behind son Billy in USAF, foster daughter Pauline Nixon, 1 grandchild and 2 step grandchildren.  Buried at Ava Evergreen Cemetery
Worthen, Wilson, age 74 yrs from Santa Barbara, CA formerly from Murphysboro died 27 Dec 1969. He was the s/o Henry Worthen.  Veteran of WWI Co G 130th Inf.  He married 06 Oct 1917 in Effingham, IL to Lois Shuney.  Leaves behind children, Wilson Jr, Frank and Mrs. Patricia Partridge w/o Frank all of Los Angelos, CA and sister Mrs. Jack Baskin of Murphysboro, IL  ( did not list a cemetery, but since he died in CA I'd assume he is buried there)
