Skinner, Jack Woodard, Adoni Awerrs.  Witnesses: Dr L.O. Cox, Murphysboro, M.D.; Harry Hunsacker, Murphysboro, Porter; R. O. Deason, Murphysboro, Police; Harry Goddin, Murphysboro, x per--man; P.A. Stireve, Murphysboro, Police; A. J. Lawson, Murphysboro, Police; Squire Loosely, Murphysboro, Merchant; Ed Katzmark, Murphysboro, Laborer; Leewis Bostick, Murphysboro, Miner; Goe Gooton, Murphysboro, Miner; Willis Harris, Murphysboro, Ticket agent ICRR; Fred Robin, Murphysboro, Reporter; Frank Katzmark, Murphysboro, Laborer; Ranal Bostic, Murphysboro, Laborer. Verdict of Jury: We the undersigned jury sworn to inquire of the death of James Bostic we do find that he came to his death by a gun shot wound the gun being in the hands of a night policeman Fred Jacquot at about 11 P.M. Aug 24, 1905. from which said James Bostic died at about 8 P.M. Aug 25, 1905. We find that shooting not justifiable and recommend that Fred Jacquot be held to await the action of the Grand Jury.

John Brandon inquest held at Court House Murphysboro, IL Sept 1, 1905. W.S. Forshee, Coroner. Names of Jurors: John Blust, Pat Strawhouse, Pat McGlynn, Ed Forshee, W. F. Hughes, W. H. Hartley. Witnesses: W. M. Hill M.D., Murphysboro, M.D.; Lester Orr, Mt Carbon, Miner; Oscar Bolden, Mt Carbon, Miner; The. B. Smith, Murphysboro, Tel operator; G. Winning, El St. Louis, RR engineer; Wm, E. DePoister, E. St., Louis, RR fireman; Jas Burlison, E. St. Louis, RR conductor. Verdict of Jury: We the undersigned jurors sworn to inquire of the death of John Brandon on view of body on oath do find that he came to his death by being struck by engine 848 on the I.C.R.R. Bridge across Big Muddy River Sept 1, 1905 at about 3-15 A.M. while lying beside the track from which injuries he died at the hospital about 3 P.M. the same day.

Eldron Clutts inquest held at Pamona, Ill on the 25th day of August 1905 A.D. W. S. Forshee, Coroner.  Name of Jurors: Thos Cochran, Chas Stearns, W.F. Hughes, W.R. Cochran, Frank Cochran.  Witnesses: Walter Clutts, Pomona Twp., Farmer; Ella Clutts, Pomona Twp., House keeper; Nancy Cochran, Pomona Twp., House keeper; J. J. Cochran, Pomona Twp., Farmer.  Verdict of Jury: We the undersigned jury sworn to inquire of the death of Eldron Clutts do find that he came to his death by being accidentally thrown on his knife, which he had in his hand while leading a calf, the blade piercing his heart 1 1/4 in to the right of the left nipple and 1 1/2 in above from which wound he died in about one half hour. He died at about 4:20 P.M. August 24th 1905.

Jack Edwards Inquest held at Court house at Murphysboro Ill, August 17, 1905. W.S. Forshee, Coroner.  Names of Jurors: John Blust, Adam Owens, W.F. Hughes, Thos McFarland, Geo Shook, Arthur Higgins.  Witnesses: Alex Schmidz, Murphysboro, Ill, Merchant; Bert Fox, Murphysboro, Druggist; Pat McGlyn, Murphysboro, Miner; Dr. L. O. Cox, Murphysboro, M.D. Verdict of Jury: We the jury sworn to inquire of the death of Jack Edwards do find that he came to his death by from excessive use of cocaine and morphine self inflicted with a  hypodermic syringes. He died at about 9 A.M. August 16th 1905

James Morton inquest held at Jarrel Morton's in Vergennes, Ill, August 16th, 1905. W. S. Forshee, Coroner.  Name of Jurors: Otto Gortz, J. M. Parrish, Martin Flint, A. Schimdtgall, W. D. Bumoughon. Witnesses: Mary Dielch, Vergennes, House keeper; Mrs. J. Martin, Vergennes, House keeper; Emma Fifer, Vergennes, House keeper; Susie Kise, Perry Co., House keeper.  Verdict of Jury: We the undersigned jury sworn to inquire of the death of James Morton do find that he came to his death by natural causes presumably heart failure super induced by complication of diseases.
