1850 Jasper County, IL Census

This is more of the 1850 Jasper County, IL census. The film was hard to read in places and I don't make any claims for being the best transcriptionist around! I'm sure there are errors in my interpretation of their handwriting, so if you recognize an error, feel free to notify me. And as always . . . verify everything for yourself!!!

(The more question marks there are next to a name, the less confident I am of my interpretation. S's, L's and T's all look the same on this census).

This census taker almost always re-wrote the last name of the person if he started a new page mid-household. I've made a note of that whenever it occurs. Otherwise, when a last name is repeated within a household, it's fairly safe to assume they are from a different family.
