Sue Ann (Morgan) Dobbs


Sue Ann Dobbs 62 years of Mt.Vernon died 11:05 a.m. May 10,2004 at 
St. Marys Good Sam Hospital in Mt.Vernon.

 Mrs. Dobbs was born April 21,1942 in Mt.Vernon

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. thursday at Johnston funeral home in 
Mt. Vernon. The Rev Charles McCormick will officiate Burial will follow 
at Arnold Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm at Johnston Funeral Home in Mt.Vernon. 

Mrs. Dobbs is survived by four sons Allan Ackley and wife Carlene of 
Mt.Vernon, Clifford Ackley of Missouri, Christopher Dobbs and wife Christina 
of Missouri and Shawn Dobbs of Mt.Vernon four daughters Debra O'Dell 
and husband Gary of Missouri, Carrie Ackley and special friend Henry 
Vincent of Mt.Vernon, Brenda Savage and husband Russell of Belle Rive and 
Desiree Jackson and husband Larry of Mt.Vernon 17 grandchildren, six great 
grandchildren and seven step grandchildren. She is also survived by a 
special friend of 20 years Stanley Harrbison of Mt.Vernon.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husbands Wesley Ackley and 
Thomas Hank Dobbs a son leon Wayne Ackley and a daughter Ruth Ann Ackley 
and a brother John Griffin.

Mrs. Dobbs was of the Baptist faith.
