Dude, Rev. Leroy E. of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2006; 
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Powell) Dude; dear father of Virginia (John) Albert, 
Carolyn (Paul) Lutz, Donna (Don) Burroughs, David (Camilla) Dude, and Robert (Cindy) Dude; 
grandfather, great-grandfather, dear friend. Rev. Dude was a United Methodist Minister 
pastoring churches in Bethalto, Bunker Hill, Alton Grace, O'Fallon, Grayville, Mt. Vernon 
West Salem Trinity and several others. Pastor Emeritus at West Salem Trinity U.M.C.Services: 
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, at HUGHEY Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, 
Illinois, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at West Salem Trinity U.M.C. in Mount Vernon. 
Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment will be held at 
10 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Edwardsville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the 
Building Fund of the West Salem Trinity United Methodist Church and will be accepted at the 
church and funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, 
Illinois 62864.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hughey Funeral Home where you 
may call 618-242-3348 for further information.
