Reva D. Howard

Reva D., 94, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was 
born June 10, 1911 in Jefferson County, Illinois to Sam and Bertha (King) Chambliss. Reva 
married Alva D. Howard on December 21, 1927 in Bluford, Illinois. She was a long time member 
of the First Baptist Church of Bethany. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alva D. 
Howard, Sr. in 1974, and her son, Alva D. Howard, Jr. Reva is survived by her sons, Dr. 
Robert G. Howard and his wife, Marsha, Rev. Marshall V. Howard and his wife, Dee, and Rev. 
Narrah R. Howard and his wife, Jane; daughter-in-law, Pam Howard; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 13 
grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren; and many other 
loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, 
June 3, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Bethany with interment following at Bethany 
Cemetery.
