Wilda Dee Johnson
JOHNSON Wilda Dee Johnson, 83, passed away on Saturday morning, October 22, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clark Johnson. Dee and Harold moved to the country in Mandarin in 1965 and cherished the north Florida lifestyle with their friends, horses, chickens, dog & cats at "Dixie Moon". Their home on Flynn Road became a home away from home for many friends and family. Dee and Harold moved to Westminster Woods in 1997 and enjoyed the close relationships they formed with their neighbors. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Greene and her husband, Ted and their children, Lisa (husband, Jack), Collin, Joseph and Julie; her son, John Sesney and his wife, Nan, and their daughter, Natalie of Carson City, Nevada; her brother-in-law, Gene Johnson and his wife, Janet, of Clemson, South Carolina; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Dee was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and after graduating from high school worked as a legal secretary. She married Harold in 1949 in Columbia, Missouri and they resided in St. Louis, Missouri and Lansing, Michigan before moving to Florida. Dee was an extraordinary mother and was well known for her spirit, positive outlook on life, generosity and overflowing love for her family. There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Mandarin United Methodist Church, 11270 San Jose Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mandarin United Methodist Church's Music Program.
