Theresa Louise Mayo
 

Theresa Louise Mayo, 60 of Mt. Vernon died 12:08 p.m., November 23, 1995, at
Crossroads Community Hospital.
Mrs. Mayo was born January 5, 1935, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of Charles and
Fern (Steele) Piercy. March 12, 1955, in Mt. Vernon, she married William E. Mayo.

Graveside services will be 1 P.M. Saturday at Boyd Cemetery with the Rev. Maurice
Paxton officiating. There will be no visitation.  Those attending the services on Saturday
are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Johnston Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon is in charge
of the arrangements.

Mrs. Mayo is survived by her husband, William Mayo, two sons, Ron Mayo and wife Estella
of Opdkye and Randy Mayo at home; three grandchildren, Sharanah, Nicholas and Damon
(twins) Mayo all of Opdyke; one brother Dwight Piercy and wife Wanda of Mt. Vernon; and
four sisters, Evelyn Goddard of Mt. Vernon, Jean Yearwood of Texico, Freida Land and husband
Verdon of Opdyke and Velma England and husband William of Mt. Vernon.
She was of Protestant faith.
Mrs. Mayo was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
