Inez V. Medders
 
Inez V. Medders, 87, Route 4, died at 9;05 PM Nov.10, 1987 at Crossroads Hospital.
Mrs. Medders was born Oct. 30, 1900 in Jefferson County, a daughter of Alexander and 
Nancy (Brookman) Green. On March 25, 1920, in Jefferson County, she married Roy A. Marlow,
ho died Dec. 21, 1931. On Oct. 22, 1933, in Mt. Vernon, she married Melville A. Medders, who 
died Oct. 17, 1975.
Services will be at 11 AM Friday at Hughey Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Wood officiating. 
Burial will follow at East Hickory Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 PM  Thursday at Hughey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Medders is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Claude (Ada) Newton of Mt. Vernon; one stepson, 
Rex Medders and wife Vangie of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildfren: and a sister, 
Mrs. Eva Pigg of Mt. Vernon.
Mrs. Medders was a member of Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church and the Happy Circle Club.
In addition to both husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Herman Marlow, 
Harold Marlow and Donald Marlow; one daughter, Audrey Marlow; one granddaughter, four sisters
nd two brothers.
