Vernie Mills

Verne Mills, 83, Woodlawn died at 4:35 pm Oct. 14, 1986, in Good Samaritan Hospital.
Mrs. Mills was born Sept. 5, 1903, in Jefferson County, the daughter of William and Alice Green.
On Oct. 30, 1926, in Carlyle, she married Everett Mills, who survives.
The funeral will be 11 am Thursday at Pyatt Funeral Home in Ashley.  
Burial will follow in Brick Cemetery in Ashley. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm today 
at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mills survived by her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of Union Church.
