Anna Marie Minor

Anna Marie Minor Age 82, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, formerly of Joliet, Illinois passed away 
Friday, April 23, 2004 at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor, Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was born 
October 2, 1921 in Jefferson County, Illinois, the daughter of Orley Hart and Retha Mae 
(Champ) Hart. She married Carl C. Minor on January 3, 1941 in Perryville, Missouri. He died 
February 11, 2004. She was a homemaker. 

She is survived by a son, Jerry L. (Elizabeth) Minor of Columbia, TN; and a daughter, 
Barbara (Don) Awalt of Eldorado, IL; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. 

Her father and husband preceded her in death. 

For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospice and will be 
accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt.
Vernon, Illinois, 62864.
