Harry Pierce Died Today at Mt Vernon

Harry Pierce aged about 38, a former resident of 
this city died at 8:30 this morning at Mt Vernon 
after an illness of several days. 
The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon 
at 2:30 at Mt Vernon and burial will be made there.

The deceased was born in this city and spent the greater 
part of his life here.  He is survived by his widow, who 
was before her marriage Bess Gray, a sister of Dr L R Gray, 
two daughters, Virginia and Grace, his father B F Pierce and 
two brothers, Earl and Pierce of E St Louis and two sisters, 
Mrs Chancey Berry and Mrs Hazel Johnson of this city.  

Two sisters, Mrs Robert Brawley and Mrs Jack Rice preceded 
him in death.
