Fern Marie Piercy
 

Mrs. Fern Marie Piercy of 1213 N. 12th St., died at 11:45 a.m. Friday at
Good Samaritan Hospital.  She was 65 years old.
Funeral services for Mrs. Piercy will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Myers Chapel.
The Rev. Maurice Paxton will officiate.  Burial will be in the Boyd Cemetery.
Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 4 o'clock this afternoon.

Mrs. Piercy was born May 08, 1904, in Centralia.  Her parents were John and Lydia
(Owens) Steele. She was married in 1920 to Charles Piercy, who preceded her in death
in 1960.  Mrs. Piercy is survived by a son, Dwight of Mt. Vernon; five daughters, Freida
Lane of Opdyke and Velma England, Rheba Yearwood, Theresa Mayo and Evelyn Goddard,
all of Mt. Vernon; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters.
