 Mrs. Louise Rector, 91, of Texico, died at 3:15 a.m. today at Good
Samaritan Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Union Chapel
United Methodist church, east of Texico, with the Rev. Melvin Chambliss
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Osborne Funeral Home in Dix after 4 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Rector was born Nov. 17, 1882, the daughter of Taylor (NOTE:
Matthew Taylor) and Martha Jane (Brookman) Lisenby.
On August 30, 1897, she was married to Arthur Rector, who died in 1947.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Williams, of Texico,
Mrs. Bessie Taylor, of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Ruby Whitson, of Mt. Olive;
eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Flossie Eller, two sons, two
brothers, two sisters, a grandson and a great-grandchild.
