BESSEMER CITY - Eddie Dean White
47, died Thursday, August 7, 1997. 

He was born in Jefferson County, Illinois on April 9, 1950. 

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home 
with Rev. Ted Stone officiating. Burial will be in Westview Gardens Cemetery. The family 
will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. 

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Ellis White; sons, Christopher Ellis, Jonathan Ellis, 
Brandon White and Eddie Dean White, Jr., all of the home; daughters, Wanda White of the 
home, Teresa White of Illinois; mother, Wanda Ashby White of Athens, GA; father, Donald 
Eugene White of Michigan; brothers, Cary E. White of Winterville, GA, Timothy White of 
Keswick, VA; sisters Carolyn Massey of Athens, GA, Janet Green of Ila, GA and maternal 
grandmother, Nora Ashby of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. 

Pallbearers will be Cary White, Johnny Ellis, Gary Sims, David Sims, John Sims, and Eddie 
Greene.
