Leo Roberts to Johanna Francis
The marriage of Miss Johanna Francis daughter of Frank Francis and Leo Roberts son of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Roberts, both families being residents of Apple River, was soleminized Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Rev. Flavian Voet officiating. Miss Elleda Steimle and Robert Russell were the attendents. The bride wore a brown tweed suit with brown accessories and the bridesmaid was dressed in a teal blue outfit. A wedding dinner for 24 guests, immediate relatives, was served at the home of the bride's aunt Mrs. Tom Watson. After a trip through southern Illinois Mr. and Mrs. Roberts will reside on the Roberts farm where the groom assists his father in farming.
