He leaves a wife, five daughters and one son to mourn the loss of a kind companion and indulgent father. Misses Lizzie, Mary, Emma, and Joseph reside at home and Misses Julia and Louise have a dressmaking shop in Galena. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.F. Klindworth last Saturday morning at the Lutheran church south of Schoenhard school house and interment was made in the cemetery by the church. Messrs. Victor Edge, Charles Kellar, Henry Saam, Henry Drink, Fred Koester and John Dregmiller were pall bearers. The bereaved family have the sympathy of a multitude of friends in their affliction.
Mrs. Frick, whose maiden name was Margareas E. Duerrstein was born in Germany on Dec. 15, 1838 and came to the United States in company with her parents in 1848, settling in Guilford township, Jo Daviess county. In 1855 she was united in marriage to Joseph Frick who preceded her to the grave in March 1900.
The surviving members of the family are five daughters and one son. These are Elizabeth and Emma at home, Mrs. L. Obermiller, Louisa, and Mary of this city, and Joseph at home. The funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at the family home and at 11 o’clock at the Lutheran church in Guilford, interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Frick was a good wife and a loving mother and her loss will be felt by those who knew her for many years to come.
HERMENA (BANTLI) FELTMEYER
- Funeral services for Mrs. George Feltmeyer of Stockton was held at 1:30 p.m. in the Hermann Funeral Home at Stockton. The Rev. Richard Burrack, pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church, both in Stockton, officiated. Burial was in Ladies Union Cemetery at Stockton. Mrs. Feltmeyer, the mother of Norman Feltmeyer of Lanark, died Monday morning in Freeport Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church at Stockton, Stockton Order of the Eastern Star, Jefferson Thift Club and Greenvale Neighborhood Club, both of Stockton. Born May 27, 1894, in Rush Township, Jo Daviess Counties, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Roberts) Bantli. She was married to George Feltmeyer, July 31, 1912, in Pinckneyville. The couple farmed all of their married life in the Stockton area. He died February 9, 1969. Surviving are four sons, Nolan and Allen, both of Stockton, Paul of Alle River and Norman of Lanark; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Marie) Bradford of Chicago; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Miss Alice Bantli. She was preceded in death in addition to her husband, by two sons and a brother.

JOSEPH FRICK
died at his home in Guilford township at an early hour last Thursday morning, March 1st aged 75 years, 2 months and 6 days. Mr. Frick was one of the oldest settlers in the township, having lived on the farm ever since 1835, except four years spent in California, from 1850 to 1854. Mr. Frick was an industrious farmer and accumulated considerable property. He was one of the best of neighbors and his friends were legion.

MARGARET FRICK
The death of Mrs. Margaret E. Frick occurred at the family home in Guilford at 8:30 o’clock on Saturday evening.
