Anna Mae Dunne

Anna Mae Dunne, daughter of George Brumley & Anna (Webb) Brumley, was born November 6, 1923 in Johnson County Illinois. 

She departed this life Monday evening, August 9, 2004, at the Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. At the time of her passing, Anna Mae had attained the age of 80 years 9 months & 3 days.


Anna Mae was united in marriage to Clarence Horney. He preceded her in death in 1952.


Survivors include: 2 Daughters – Sheila & Robert Johnson of Aurora, IL and Sonja L. Henning of Goreville, IL; 5 Grandchildren – Samuel & Glori Henning, Brian Henning, Theresa Henning, Robert & Melissa Johnson, Jr., & Deron & Jenn Johnson; 9 Great Grandchildren – Kayla, Jenise, Ryan, Joanna, Alicia, Brandy, Luis, Jacob, & Kyle; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren – Treston, Draven, & Reamy; a Sister-in-Law – Catherine Brumley of Vienna, IL; many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & dear friends.


In addition to her Parents & Husband, Anna Mae was preceded in death by: a Daughter – Judith Kaye Horney; a Great Grandson – Micah Bell; 3 Brothers – Lewis, Ado, & George Brumley; and 5 Sisters – Sadie Heiss, Alta Crews, Oma McNeely, Elizabeth Brumley, & Helen Maki.


Anna Mae was a homemaker. She had also worked as a home health care provider. She was a member of the Heartland Harvest Church in Johnston City, IL and the Pond Ladies Club. Anna Mae enjoyed the outdoors; especially spending time & working in her yard & garden.


Funeral services will be held Friday morning, August 13, 2004, at 10 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Don Cannon will officiate. Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery, north of Vienna.


Friends may call from 6 PM – 8 PM Thursday evening at Bailey Funeral Home.
