Audrey Larson, 85, died at 7:21 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at her granddaughter's home in Marion.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, in Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home in Creal Springs, with the Rev. Shorty Alsip officiating. Burial will be in Newbold Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home in Creal Springs.

Mrs. Larson was retired from Allens Ind. in Herrin.

She was born on Dec. 21, 1919, in New Burnside, to William Newbold and Gracie (Rich) Newbold. She married Granville Larson, and he preceded her in death in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Larry L. Larson of Creal Springs; five brothers, Howard, Jody and Carol and (Francis) Newbold of Creal Springs, Sam and Sue Newbold of Missouri and Jimmy Newbold of Indiana; three sisters, Hazel Holmes of Herrin, Rachel Gaddis of Creal Springs, Bonvea Holmes of Creal Springs; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; three brothers and two sisters.
