Barbara J. Ford

Barbara J. (PENROD) Ford, daughter of Ben Penrod & Lorene (HOUSTON) Penrod, was born October 1, 1933 in Dongola, Illinois. She departed this life Tuesday evening, December 30, 2003, at 7:50pm at the Christus- St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, TX. at the time of her passing, Barbara had attained the age of 70 years, 2 months, & 29 days.

Barbara was united in marriage to Loren Ford Jr. on November 4, 1950 in Kankakee. Il. He survives. Other survivors include; a Son - Gary Ford of Colorado, Il.; 2 Daughters - Vicki & Leonard Chaplinski of Bradley, IL. & Pam Ford of Limestone, IL.; 8 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; a Brother - Dean Penrod of Colbert, OK and a Sister- Betty Fisher of Montgomery, Il.

In addition to her Parents, Barbara was preceded in death by; 2 Great Granddaughters.

Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting. Barbara was of the Methodist faith.

Barbara leaves her family & many friends to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, January 4, 2004, at 2pm at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Dr. James W. Cecil will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call from 5pm - 8pm Saturday, January 3, 2004, at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
