Brie A. Bradley

Brie A. Bradley, 97, of Goreville passed away at 11:40am, Tuesday, Feb 18, 2003 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 1:00pm, Thursday, Feb 20, 2003 at the blue Funeral Home, Goreville and Reverend John Somers and Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. Visitation was from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, Feb 19, 2003 at the funeral home. Masonic rites was at 7:00pm, Wednesday evening by Saline Masonic Lodge #339. Burial was at Busby Cemetery. Mr. Bradley was born on March 13, 1905 in Tunnel Hill, Illinois to Guy and Minnie (CAGLE) Bradley. He married Bertha Hall on June 26, 1926. She preceded him in death, he later married Lyda King on Oct 2, 1933 and she also preceded him in death.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Bill Davis of Goreville; grandchildren, Darlene and Rick Roach and Richard and Joyce Kelley all of Goreville; great-grandchildren, Lora Roach of Springfield, Illinois and Lisa and Todd Matthews of Chesterfield, Missouri; and special caregivers, Pam and Bill Vance.

He was receded in death by his parents; his wives; sister, Sylvia Bradley; five brothers, Zunie, Arnold, Val, Alva and Nova Bradley.

Mr. Bradley retired as a foreman from Stauffer Chemical Company in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He was a 49 year member of the Saline Masonic Lodge #339, a member of the Eastern Star, Goreville Senior Citizens, Historical Society of Johnson County, Illinois and past board member of the Goreville State Bank. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
