Donald D. Ford

Donald D. Ford, 52, Rome Meadows Apartments in Dix and a former resident of Vienna, IL. was found dead in his home at 3:20 p.m. Aug. 8, 1995.

He was a guard at Joliet Stat Prison and worked at Rawhide Factory in Elgin. He was most recently a retailer of novelty goods.

He was born March 25, 1943, in Vienna, a son of Loren Marshall and Frieda Lee (HESTER) Ford. He graduated from Vienna High School in 1962.

Services were Aug. 11, 1995, at Whitnel Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.

He is survived by a daughter, Monica Garrett and her husband Jason; three grandchildren, Ryan, Jordan, and Alex Garrett all of Oklahoma; four brothers, Robbie ford and wife Marietta of Vienna, Ralph Ford and wife Ella of Vienna, Loren Jr. Ford and wife Barbara of Kankakee, and Bill Ford and wife Ruth of Anna; three sisters, Gertrude Brown and husband Bud of Ozark, Wilma Brown and husband David of Marion, and Betty Ann Phillips and husband Herschel of Eldorado; several nieces and nephews; and great - nieces and nephews.

He was preceded id death by his parents.
