Frank S. Pearce
Frank S. Pearce, 84, of Buncombe died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, April 11,
1977 at the Union County Hospital at Anna.
He
was a retired maintenance man with the Illinois Dept. of Highways and a
retired farmer. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in
Buncombe.
He
was born Nov. 17, 1892, in Johnson County to William H. and Mary Hodge
Pearce.
He
married Glenna Davis in 1914 in Johnson County. She died in 1918. He
married Faye Stout in 1918 in Johnson County. She survives.Other
survivors include one daughter, Wilhelma Davis of Anna; eight
grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one sister, Amy Hick of
Marion.
Three brothers; four sisters; and two sons, Guy and Herschel, preceded
him in death.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m.
today at the Mount-Whitnel Funeral Home in Vienna.
