Harvey Delano Whitnel

Harvey D. Whitnel, 65, of Goreville passed away 2:30 PM, Monday, November 22, 2004 at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Everett Whitnel giving the eulogy. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Burial will be in Cypress Masonic Cemetery in Cypress, Illinois. 

Mr. Whitnel was born on November 2, 1939 to William and Helen (Taylor) Whitnel in Johnson County, Illinois. 

He is Survived by brothers, Bill and Freda Jo Whitnel of Metropolis, Illinois, Everett and Marilyn Whitnel of Vienna, Illinois; sisters, Vera Schwarze of Franklin Park, Illinois, Margaret Butler of Kingwood, Texas; three nephews, four nieces, seven great-nephews and one great-niece. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother, Clarence Wayne Whitnel.
