James R. Webb
James R. Webb, 65, of Wetaug, died at 7:50a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at his home in Wetaug. He was born on Jan. 14, 1938, in Chicago, the son of Charles and Mildred (SMITH) Webb. He married Marcia Charlene (HORD) on Nov. 18, 1963, in Champaign. She survives. Mr. Webb was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. he was a former president of the AFSCME Local. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Webb of Wetaug; five children, Chuck and his wife Kisha Webb of Wetaug, Scott and his wife Marsha Welch of Vienna, Steve and his wife Carol Lehman of Golconda, Becky Wilson of Cypress, and David and his wife Angela Lehman of Cypress; nine grandchildren; six great - grandchildren; two brothers, gene Wiggs of Texas and Robert Webb of Tuscon, Ariz.; five sisters, Rita Polston of Vienna, Alice Greenwood of Eldorado, Edna may Bullington of Christopher, Nancy Owens of Georgia and Diana Wiggs of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services for Mr. Webb were at 2p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress with the Rev. Ronnie Gulley officiating. Full military honors were presented at the graveside by the VFW's Carroll P. Foster VFW Post No. 3455. Memorials can be made to the salvation Army. Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna was in charge of arrangements.
