Jerry D. Wolaver

Jerry D. Wolaver, 63, of Marion passed away 12:13 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Kenny Blumenstock officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 17, 2004 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery, Goreville. 

Mr. Wolaver was born on August 11, 1941 in Goreville, Illinois to Elmer and Cora (Cox) Wolaver. 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ritchey and Wendy Wolaver of Bakersfield, California; son, Trevor Wolaver of Thompsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Neil McRoy of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Andy Meadows of Mulkeytown; ten grandchildren, Amanda Wolaver, Justin Wolaver, Kristen Wolaver, Dustin Wolaver, Trevor Wolaver, Rosebrook Wolaver, McKenzie Wolaver, Haylie Wolaver, Cody McRoy and Tiffany McRoy; one great grandson; one great granddaughter; brother and sister-in-law, Billie and Virginia Wolaver of Creal Springs; brother, Bobbie Wolaver of Creal Springs; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. 

Mr. Wolaver worked as a brick mason for many years. He was a member of the Brick Mason`s Union, and the Marion Elks #800. He loved to fish.
