Larry Henderson

Larry D. Henderson, son of K. G. Henderson & Grace (Cantrell) Henderson, was born October 25, 1949 in Porter, Texas. He departed this life Thursday evening, February 19, 2004 at 7:02 PM, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

At the time of his passing, Larry had attained the age of 54 years 3 months & 25 days.

Larry was united in marriage to Linda (Finley) on July 28, 1979 in Charleston, MO. She survives.

Other Survivors include: His Mother – Grace (Cantrell) Henderson; a Daughter – Stephanie Akins, & her husband Jason, of Cypress, IL; 3 Sons – Jeff Henderson of Piggott, AR, Larry Henderson, & his wife Toni, of Tunnel Hill, IL & Brian Finley of Boles, IL; 3 Grandchildren – Rocky Douglas Henderson, Amity Knichole Akins & Weston Lee Henderson; 1 Sister – Linda Sproul, & her husband Paul, of Ohio Pyle, PA; 1 Brother – Kenny Henderson, & his wife Chris, of Bloomington, IN; Several Nieces & Nephews.

In addition to his Father, Larry was preceded in death by: 1 Brother – Johnny Henderson.

Larry was a Truck Driver, employed by TJS Express. He enjoyed fishing & spending time with his Children & Grandchildren. Larry was of the Baptist faith. Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during Vietnam. Larry leaves his family & many friends to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, February 23, 2004 at 2 PM, at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna, IL. Rev. Robert Burch will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by the Beggs-Gurley VFW Post #5222.
Friends may call after 4 PM Sunday at Bailey Funeral Home.
