Loetta Black

GOREVILLE- Loetta Black, 70, of  Goreville passed away at 8:00 AM, Monday, May 26, 2003 at Herrin Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2003 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend R. G. Null officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Busby Cemetery, Goreville. Memorials  may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Box 411, Marion, Ill 62959.

Ms. Black was born on August 30, 1932 in Johnson County, Illinois to Raleigh M. and Della A. (CRAIG) Sullivan.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Rose Black of Goreville; granddaughter, Dana Black-Street and husband, Jack Street of Goreville; great grandson, Jackson Holden Lee Street; and sister and brother-in-law, Verna May and George Billingsley of Goreville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Sullivan; and sisters, Hazel Girtman and Reanna Martin.

Ms. Black was a member of the First Goreville Apostolic Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crafts, and tending to her plants.
