Loren Marshall Ford
On April 06, 1922 in Johnson County, he was united in holy matrimony to Freeda Hester who is now left to mourn the passing of this her beloved husband of 42 years of marriage. To this union eight children were born, all of whom survive the passing of their beloved father. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Brown of Ozark; Mrs. Wilma Soper of Marion; and Mrs. Betty Woning of St. Louis, Missouri; five sons, Robbie Ford of Vienna, Ralph and Loren Jr. of Kankakee; Billy Ford of Anna and Donald Ford of Lockport and their respective families all of whom will miss him sadly. He is further survived by one sister, Mrs. Nellie Wilson of Vienna, and two brothers, Willie and Roy Ford both of Vienna; 28 grandchildren and a host of other relatives who loved him dearly.
As a husband and father, he remained a source of strength to his wife and children. They stood first and foremost in his mind, and the happiest times of his life were those times that he spent in their company. The love and affection he had for his children all of whom loved him deeply. They showed him all the warmth and respect due one so close and so loved.
