Norma June Grant

Norma June Grant, daughter of Thomas Spraggs & Edna (Dunn) Spraggs, was born June 4, 1933 in Johnson County Illinois.

She departed this life Tuesday morning, May 31, 2005 at 4 AM at the Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, IL.At the time of her passing, Norma June had attained the age of 71 years, 11 months & 27 days.

Norma June was united in marriage to Bailey Grant on December 31, 1950 in Cypress, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include: a Daughter – Nancy Pass of Goreville, IL; 5 Sons – Larry Grant & his wife Ilene of Jonesboro, IL, Rodney Grant & his wife Rhonda of Haleyville, AL, Gary Grant of Vienna, IL, Ronnie Grant of Perryville, MO, & Tony Grant & his wife Judy of New Baden, IL; 17 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; a Sister – Dorothy Spraggs-Allen of Manito, IL; Nieces & Nephews.

Norma June was a homemaker. She had also formerly been employed by the Bob White Café at West Vienna, IL. Norma June was a member of the Cypress First Baptist Church. She was a loving & devoted Mother. Norma June enjoyed spending time with her family.

Norma June leaves her family & friends to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, June 3, 2005 at 11 AM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Burial will be in the Cypress Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening, June 2, 2005 after 6 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
