Helen Clark, 74 of Elgin, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in her home.  She was born April 22, 1930 in Buncombe, IL and was the daughter of Leland and Elda Toler.
    Resident of Elgin most of her life and was a graduate of Elgin High School.  She was a school bus driver for District #U46 for several years and then she worked for the Kane County Assessor's office, before retiring.
    Surviving are her husband, Norman; three sons, William (Carol) Clark of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas (Laura) Clark of Huntley, IL and Dale Clark of Elgin; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathon, Cody and Nick Clark; one brother, William Toler of Stockton, CA.
    Preceded in death by her parents.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.  Burial will be private in Bluff City Cemetery.
    Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 PM, until time of services.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Vietnam Veterans Association, Inc., 2800 S. Mill Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282.
