Mertie Kerley Street Hutchison Doney, 79, a former resident of Creal Springs, died in the Hillview nursing home here
Saturday, September 16, 1964.
She was the daughter of John R. and Mary Jane Roe Kerley and was born in Johnson County, May 8, 1885.
She is survived by a daughter, Eunice Wells of Simpson and a son, John Street of Creal Springs, by her marriage to John Street.  She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Hifsy Watkins of Simpson.
She was a member of the Creal Springs Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held at County Line Baptist Church with interment in the Kerley Cemetery.  Rev. James Hooker and Rev. Louie Simmons officiated.
Robertson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
