Josie Edna Dunn
Lo! The deep shadows of death darkened the
home of IRA FARQUHAR and hearts of the beloved family were made sad as
the death angel quietly and peacefully came and carried our beloved
wife, mother and sister, JOSIE back to the Father, who is the giver of
the spirit. JOSIE was the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.T. Dunn
both having preceded her in death. She was born near West Vienna, Oct.
14, 1892 and departed this life in the I.C. hospital in Paducah, May
23, 1935, aged 42 years, 7 months and 9 days. She was converted at
Central Church at the age of 15 and lived a devoted christain life to
the end. She was married to IRA FARQHAR April 6, 1913. To this union 5
sons were born, namely: LEWIS, EDWARD, LOWELL, PAUL and JOE HAROLD, all
living, also one daughter-in-law, JUANITA, whom she loved as her own
and a heart broken husband. She also leaves 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
DOLPHUS DUNN and Mrs. W.J. JONES of Cypress; JOHN DUNN and MRS. MAGGIE
COMER of Vienna; MRS. W.H. TRIPP of Cypress; MRS. ROSS FRAZIER of
Brookport; MRS. W.H. GAGE of Cincinnati, Ohio and LESTER DUNN of
Talmage, Calif., also a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones
to miss her sunny presence. While the home was darkened by her sudden
departure, heaven was made glad and beautiful by her presence, her
smiles and her beautiful personality. Her smiles and her wonderful love
that showered on every one will surely be missed not only by her own
personal loved ones, but by all who knew her.
