Jon “Jonnie” Wayne Robinson
Age: 48 years
A resident of Vienna, Illinois.
   Passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 1:43 AM at his home.
   Jon was born August 22, 1962 in Anna, Illinois. He was the son of Charles Wayne Robinson and Helen Virginia (Kerley) Robinson.
   Jon was united in marriage to Sheri Hook on June 14, 1986 at the Vienna First Baptist Church. She survives.

His 3 Sons - Nicholas Wayne Robinson of Vienna, currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps; Shon Wayne Robinson of Vienna, currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps; Wyatt Wayne Robinson of Vienna; a Brother - Jerry & Sharon Miller of Simpson, IL; 2 Sisters - Belinda & Rick Smith of Indianapolis, IN, Karla & Gary Heil of McLeansboro, IL; Nieces & Nephews.
   Jon was a 1981 graduate of Vienna High School.
   He served in the United States Marine Corps from August 1981 – August 1984. He then served in the United States Army from March 1986 – March 1989.  From March 1990 – August 2000, Jon was employed as an underground coal miner by
Arclar Coal Mine, near Harrisburg, Illinois.
   Jon was a member of the Simpson Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying
fishing and hunting. Jon also enjoyed attending his sons sports activities.
   Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, December 16, 2010, at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral
Home in Vienna. Dr. Ed Hollis will officiate.
   Burial will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery, near Simpson, IL. A flag presentation ceremony will be conducted by the Illinois National Guard Burial Honors Detail.
   Friends may call after 5 PM Wednesday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
