Thomas A. Taylor, 80, RFD 2, Vienna, died at his home, Tuesday, August 16, 1966, after a long illness.
He was born at Simpson, the son of Hamp and Eliza Harrell Taylor, June 27, 1886.
Mr. Taylor was married to Lesta Choate April 1909, at Simpson. She died in 1958.
Surviving are a son, Glenn Taylor, Vienna; daughters, Mrs. Melba Owen, Gray, Ind.; Mrs. Helen Shoemaker, RFD 2, Vienna; Mrs. Marjorie Morris, Simpson; Mrs. Jean Cox, Joppa. Also are surviving are a brother, Jim Taylor, Simpson; sisters, Mrs. Pearl Verhines, Vienna and Clara Kerley, Simpson.
Mr. Taylor was a retired farmer and merchant.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount Funeral Home with Rev. Paul McGinnis officiating. Interment was in the Simpson Crossroads cemetery.
