Emma G. Yeckley Wilkins, 84, died at 1:05 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2002
in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
She was born Feb. 22, 1918 in Goreville, Ill., the daughter of Brad Durham and Ethel Hudgens Durham. She married Gus Yeckley, who preceded her in death. She later was married to Donald Wilkins who also preceded her in death. One sister; three brothers; two grandsons, Michael Ramsey and Gary Wayne Yeckley; a great grandson Brendan Avery Greenwood, all also preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Mike Corzine of Anna; one son and daughter-in-law, C. B. and Mary Yeckley of Anna; two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Roger and Connie Wilkins of Jonesboro and Carl and Charlotte Wilkins of California.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and two brothers, Billy Lee Durham and Thomas Ned Durham, both of Goreville. Emma was a homemaker and a retired cook and waitress. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002 at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will be in the Anna city Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital. Friends may call at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 2:30 p.m. Monday.
