Orval Wayne Bullock
Orval Wayne Bullock, son of George Orval & Golda Marie (JOHNSON) Bullock, was born February 2, 1944 in the Flatwoods community in Johnson County, Illinois. At the time of his passing, Orval Wayne had attained the age of 59 years, 5 months, and 12 days. Orval Wayne was united in marriage to Terry L. (JARRARD) on August 16, 1977 at the Dixon Springs State Park. She survives. Other survivors include; 2 Daughters - Brenda Rushing, and her husband David, of Stonefort, IL. and Rebecca Johnson, and her husband, Brad of Brookport, IL; 2 Sons - Bill Bullock, and his wife Nora, of Golconda, IL. and Brannon Bullock, and his wife Lisa, of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO; 9 Grandchildren; 3 Brothers - Walter Gene & Barb Bullock of East Peoria, IL, Jerry "Cole" Jungers of Texas, & Larry D. & Karen Bullock of Easr Peoria, IL; 2 Sisters - Betty Marie Baker of Maryville, TN and LaNora & Gary DeWalt of Williamsfield, IL; Nieces & Nephews. In addition to his Parents, Orval Wayne was preceded in death by; His Stepmother - Mildred M. Bullock; an infant Brother - George Bullock; and an infant Sister - Linda Kay Bullock. Orval Wayne was a graduate of the Vienna High School. He served as a U. S. Army Military Policeman during the Vietnam War. Orval Wayne was a member of the Eddyville VFW Post 1145 and the Disabled American Veterans. Orval Wayne had been employed as an operator since 1984 with the Johnson County Highway Dept. He wasa member of the County Line Baptist Church. Orval Wayne enjoyed reading and fishing. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, July 18, 2003, at 1pm at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Norman Hill will officiate. Burial, with military graveside rites, will be in the Kerley Cemetery, near Flatwoods. Friends may call after 6pm Thursday at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
