Patricia Eastman

Patricia A. Eastman, 76, of Goreville passed away at 8:40 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Goreville United Methodist Church with Reverend Alan Milligan and Reverend Tim Woodard officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2005 at
the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Memorials may be to the Goreville High School Beta Club; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959.

Mrs. Eastman was born on February 14, 1929 in Boise, Idaho to Daniel and Elsie (Schalka) Ryan. She married Roger `Bud` Eastman on January 30, 1948 in Seattle, Washington.

Survivors include her husband, `Bud`
of Goreville; son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Ellen Eastman of Goreville;
daughter, Candy Craig and Todd Bush of Goreville; daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Doug Atkins of Goreville; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Norma Durham of Goreville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margie and Harley Ward and Sue and Jack Hancock all of Goreville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Harold O`Donnell; step-father, Clyde A. Reeves; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger M. and Gladys J. Eastman; and brother-in-law, Bobby Jo Durham.

Mrs. Eastman was a member of
the Goreville United Methodist Church. She was active in the Goreville Senior
Citizens Center, Goreville Ministerial Alliance, Goreville High School Beta
Club and she delivered Meals on Wheels to Goreville area seniors. She enjoyed
spending time with her family and friends.
