Roy Lee Perry

Roy Lee Perry, son of Roscoe Calvin Perry & Bessie Jane (WHITE) Perry, was born May 8, 1929 in Johnson County, Illinois. He departed this life at his home in Buncombe, IL. At the time of his passing, Roy Lee had attained the age of 75 years.

Survivors include; 2 Sons - John L. Perry of Tampa, FL & Robert Perry; 2 Daughters - Violet Higdon of Owensboro, KY. & Brenda Johnson of Sarasota, FL; 6 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; a Half-Brother- Jackie D. Willyard of Goreville, IL.

Roy Lee was a U.S. Army & U.S. Air Force veteran. He had worked as a self-employed automotive mechanic. Roy Lee was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed gardening, hunting & fishing.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 10 am Friday at the Busby Chapel Cemetery, south of Goreville, IL. Dr. James W. Cecil will officiate. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the cemetery at approx. 9:45 am Friday morning.

Military rites will be accorded by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post of Anan, IL.

Friends may call after 6pm Thursday at the Bailey funeral Home in Vienna.
