Sheila Ramage


Sheila A. Ramage, daughter of Stanley D. Jackson & Ruth Ann (Mott) Jackson, was born June 10, 1961 in Marion, IL. Sheila was united in marriage to Clyde Ramage on September 27, 1986 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna, IL. He survives.


At the time of her passing, Sheila had attained the age of 42 years 10 months & 20 days.


Other Survivors include: Her Parents – Stanley & Ruth Ann Jackson of Vienna, IL; a Daughter – Jessica Ramage at home; a Son – Jason Ramage at home; a Sister – Cheryl D. Jackson of Vienna, IL; a Brother – Chris L. Jackson, & his wife Jennifer of Vienna, IL; Her Father-in-Law & Mother-in-Law: Ira L. & Rose Ramage of Perks, IL; a Brother-in-Law – Arnold Ramage of Marion, IL; 2 Sisters-in-Law – Sharon Brown of Dongola, IL & Tina McKnight of Brookport, IL; a Special Aunt – June Trover of Vienna, IL; Other Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, relatives & many dear friends.


Sheila was preceded in death by a Brother-in-Law – Tom Ramage.


Sheila was a graduate of Murray State University, where she earned a Bachelor in Education degree. Sheila has taught 2nd Grade at the Vienna Grade School for 20 years. She was a member of the Illinois State Teacher’s Association.


Sheila was a member of the Reynoldsburg Church, near Tunnel Hill, IL, where she assisted her husband, Clyde, in the youth and young adult ministries.


She loved music and was an accomplished flutist. She also was an avid reader.
Sheila leaves her family & many dear friends to cherish her memory.


Funeral services will be held Monday morning, May 3, 2004, at 10 AM at the Fellowship Baptist Church. Rev. David Nelson will officiate. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 9 AM – 10 AM Monday. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
