Thursa E. Kelley

Thursa E. Kelley, 96, of Goreville, died at 1a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 1991 at Marion Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1p.m. Saturday at the Meredith Funeral Chapel, Goreville, with Rev. Ron Ferguson officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Burial will be in Cana Cemetery, Goreville. Friends may call after 5p.m. Friday at the Meredith Funeral Chapel, Goreville.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Goreville, on June 24, 1895 to Jacob J. and Mary Ann (Terry) Calhoon.

On February 13, 1915 she married Samuel C. Kelley in Goreville. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1983. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ray Kelley, two great grandchildren, one brother, and one sister.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Goreville all of her life.

Survives include two sons and daughters-in-law, L. N. and Margaret Kelley, of Nashville, TN, and Bill and Nita Kelley, of Goreville; one daughter and son-in-law, Blanche and Pete Ray, of Goreville; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
