Karen writes "This is a wonderful picture of a group of young people on top of Starve Rock. It includes my grandparents and was taken sometime prior to their marriage in November 1912 and I would assume on the 4th of July or some other patriotic holiday due to the American Flags. My grandfather is Charles Swegle and my grandmother is Sophia Carney. He is the man standing on the far right of the picture holding the flag. My grandmother is the one sitting on the far right holding the flag that is caught in motion by the camera. I love the hat."
