If this volume succeeds in recalling to you the many happy memories the 1926 - 1927 lap of your journey through D.H.S. we shall feel that we have measure of success in our task. It is our wish that you may turn again and again to this Dixonian as a log of your journey; that you may cherish each page from the first etching to the last autograph, because of its association to your high school life. With the untiring aid of our advisors and English teachers we have planned and worked toward this end. If it is realized we shall feel that our dreams have come true and that our labor has not been in vain.
