DONNA J. JENKINS , 70, of Dixon , died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at her home. Survivors include a son, John J. Jenkins of Dixon ; five daughters, Brenda L. (Jaime) Tapia of Farmington, Ky., Treasa E. Werner of Dixon, Juanita K. “Sue” (David) Spink of Mount Morris, Ramona L. (Rodney) Bunger of Rochelle and Kimberly R. Zera of Dixon; four granddaughters, Amanda Triplett, Megan Triplett, Tracy Bunger and Angela Zera; a grandson, Evan Zera; and three great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Jenkins; a granddaughter, Chasity O’Dell; and a brother, Raymond Nehring. Private interment of cremains is at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens , Dixon . There is no visitation. Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon .

ELLA M. (HARK) JOYCE , 97, of the Shannon Nursing Home, died Thursday (Sep. 21, 1989) at the Freeport Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Dixon with the Rev. Paul Carlson, pastor of Good Shephard Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday. A memorial has been established. Mrs. Joyce was born Aug. 1, 1892 in Ashton, the daughter of Fred and Martha Herbenthal Hark. She married Joseph Joyce May 10 1917. He died in 1957. She was employed by the Dixon Developmental Center for 17 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Virginia) Doyle of Lena, and Mrs. George (Shirley) Wolber of Sterling, one son, William Richard of Tucson, Ariz; ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded by one sister, one brother, and one daughter
