Leroy Gooch to Della Miller

A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. Samuel Miller on Wednesday, Sept. 11th at 12 o'clock, when Rev. R. S. Sargent of Chrisman, Illinois, in his pleasing and beautiful manner spoke the words which made Mr. LeRoy Gooch of Shaw and Miss Della Miller of Paw Paw husband and wife.

While the beautiful strains of the wedding march were being played by Mrs. Llewellyn Miller, the bride and groom preceded by the officiating clergyman, entered the room and took their place underneath a beautiful floral design in the shape of a large horseshoe, where the ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate families. After congratulations were extended, the party retired to the dining room where a delicious wedding dinner consisting of three courses was served.

The home was beautifully decorated with cut flowers and the table with carnations, while the bride carried a bunch of beautiful white carnations. A number of useful and fine presents were given them.

They drove to Earlville and took an afternoon train for Chicago and then on to the Pan-American exposition. They will go to housekeeping on a farm at Shaw upon their return from the east.

A host of friends join in wishing them a happy and joyous life.
