James F. Neavill
James F. Neavill died in the Salem hospital Saturday. Services were held from Linton Funeral home Monday, Rev.
Angus Phillips, officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. James Frank Neavill, son of Charles M. and
Mary Elizabeth Bisonett Neavill, was born in Kinmundy on June 19, 1882. He died at the hospital on Jan. 19, 1952.
In 1919, he married Mary Werner, of St. Louis, Mo. She died in 1937. He then married Mrs. Bessie White of this
city. Wth the exception of a very short time, he spent his entire life in Kinmundy, where he very ably served
his community as a painter and paper hanger.
Maude Noot
Carl Boone received word Saturday afternoon that his sister, Mrs. Maude Noot, of Effingham, had passed away following
an operation for gall stones. Funeral services were held Tuesday and interment made in Effingham.
James W. Noot
James W, son of John and Mary Noot, was born in the city of Wilkes-Barre, Penn. on September 9th, 1874. He passed
away at his home in Effingham Friday, Jan. 29th, 1932 at 9:45 PM following an acute attack of heart trouble. He
grew to manhood in Wilkes-Barre, at which time he became associated with his father as a commission Merchant.
In 1897, when he was 23 yrs he, with his sister, came with their parents to Illinois, locating on a farm south
of Kinmundy. In 1898, he married Helen Maude Boone of Kinmundy and to this union was born an only child whom they
named Florence Lillian.
