Edward Arndt and Emma Quiram
Edward G. Arndt (b. Mar 27, 1876 in Marshall County, IL, d. May 25, 1957) was married to Emma L. Quiram ( b. Mar 06, 1878 in Roberts Township, Marshall County, Illinois, d. Apr 06, 1969) on Feb 15, 1900 at St. Paul's Lutheran in Varna, IL. Ed was a son of August S. and Marie Auguste Harrow Arndt who immigrated from Germany. Emma was the daughter of Martin and Julianna Quiram who immigrated from Schonlanke, Kreis Czarnikau, Posen, Prussia.

Anna Auguste Bertha Arndt (b. May 11, 1883 in Varna, d. Nov 20, 1963) and Maria Rosina Pauline Arndt (b. Oct 20, 1880 in Varna, d. Dec 09, 1940). Younger sisters of Edward G. Arndt. Anna married Theodore Louis Quiram on Dec 23, 1909 in Varna, Marie married August Adolph Kemnitz on Feb 27, 1913.

Toluca Couple Observes 50th Anniversay
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Arnd Honored at Family Gathering in Home
Toluca. - The golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Arndt of this city occurred Wednesday, February 15, and their immediate family was invited to help them celebrate. Ice cream, cake, cofee, nuts and mints were served from the dining table covered with the lovely linen cloth which was a gift to the couple fifty years ago. The beautiful tiered wedding cake was flanked with lighted gold tapers in crystal candelabra.
Mesdames Fred Johannes, Ernest Schwab, Louis Hoyt, and H. C. Schumacher served and poured. Guests of the afternoon were Mrs. Henry Schwanke, Mrs. William Kemnitz, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Arndt, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schoof, and children, and Mrs. Bertha Wehling all of Varna. Later in the afternoon and evening many friends called to offer congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Arndt received many lovely gifts and cards.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Arndt were born on farms near Varna. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Arndt and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quiram were the parents of Mrs. Arndt. The couple were married in the German Lutheran church in Varna February 15, 1900 by Rev. Behrens. Their attendants at the wedding were Fred Arndt, Adolph Quiram, Laura Quiram-Adams and Marie Arndt-Kemnitz, all of whom, with the exception of Fred Arndt, have passed away. The couple farmed near Varna and Toluca until 1922 when they retired and moved to Toluca where they have since resided.
