David Yarger

October 16, 1873

In Saratoga township, Oct. 12, of dropsy, David Yarger, aged 35 years.

Local News

David Yarger, one of Saratoga townships respected citizens, died on Sunday. He has been feeble and ailing for some time. He leaves a wife, a daughter of Abel Hatfield and one child. Respect to his memory was shown in the large concourse of friends who attended the funeral obsequies.

Mrs. Ann Young

May 26, 1881

At Winnebago City, Minn., May 18, of heart disease, Ann, wife of H. S. Young, the latter being a brother of Mrs. Lewis Snyder of this city.

Burdie Young

January 17, 1878

At Atlantic, Iowa, Jan. 3, Burdie, aged 10 years, youngest child of William and Elizabeth Young, and niece of Mrs. Lewis Snyder of this city.

Mrs. Catherine Young

At Washington, Ill., July 25, of purpura hemorrhagic, Mrs. Catherine Young, 66, mother of Mr. Howard Young, foreman of this office.

Dock Young

February 17, 1881 - LaRose

There was an accident on the C. & A. railroad on the 11th, which caused the death of Dock Young, the engineer. The engine blew up and Young jumped off and struck on his head, and crushed the back of his head in, and he died before they got him to Dwight. The accident was near Blackstone, on the western division of the C. & A.
