Finch/Johnson Cemetery had been overgrown and hidden until this summer, when the property owner discovered it and cleaned up the cemetery. Judy Hofreiter discovered the alias of Johnson Cemetery while transcribing funeral home records To visit this cemetery, go on Route 78 between Bath, Il. and Chandlerville, Il., then turn west on to County Road 150North. Go about two miles and watch for a residence that used to be the old Daniels School House on the north side of the road (easy to spot.) Right in front of that house/school house is a dirt road that goes south. Looks (and is) like a field road. Go south about a mile and the dirt road forks. Go east a couple hundred feet and the cemetery will be on the south side. As this is private property, please contact the property owner before visiting.
