Funeral Services Thursday for Harold Banks, 65
Harold Parson Banks, 65 of Bath, died at 11:40 p.m. Monday at his home. He was born in Mason County, May 1, 1900, a son of Milliam (William?) and Elizabeth Shirley Banks.

He married Elsie Fletcher, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, William of Sherman, James of Canton, Max of Bloomington and Stephen at home; three daughters, Mrs. Joyce Gregory of Macomb, Mrs. Joanne Vaughn of Springfield, and Miss Joy Kay at home; two brothers, Estel of Havana, and George of Jacksonville; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Keith of Mason City, Mrs. Nina Sarff and Mrs. Mabel Carpenter of Bath, and Miss Nelda Banks and Mrs. Engle of East Peoria; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.

He was a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge, Bath-Lynchburg Optimist Club, and a county committeeman of the ASC.

Funeral services will be held at the Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home at Chandlerville at 2:30 Thursday.
